Fantastic Furniture Fabrics In Costa Rica

Custom furniture made to order in Costa Rica.

I just got back from a trip to the furniture fabric (aka upholstery fabric) distributor and I’m so inspired! Check out some of my awesome finds! Each and every one of these are fabrics we now have available for custom orders.

Admittedly, I love fabric. I love sewing and I LOVE furniture. So it should be no surprise that I had a ton of fun at the upholstery fabric center, but I really did not expect it to go so well.

I mean, have you SEEN some of the upholstered couches and chairs they sell in Costa Rica? If you have then you know why I was so pleasantly surprised with these awesome options. The microcuero is high quality, all the microfiber prints are soooo soft, and the linen comes in such perfect colors.

The last two chairs, 11 and 12, were just some fast designs Andres made. The legs and structure are all in metal for a cool industrial look but with an upholstered seat.

We will be making some chairs in the style of number 1 with some teal linen later this month. I’m so excited! I can’t wait to show all of you how they turn out!

About Me

When I was 15 I got my first job working at a marmolería. It was hard, dusty work! But I got the chance to learn many things. I fell in love with woodworking and for many years it was my dream to own my own woodworking business. I started Custom Furniture Costa Rica in 2015 and it has given me the chance to live my dream and so much more. I’m Andres Zamora, and this is my art and my passion.
