You know you want to remodel your kitchen but you are not sure where to start. Take some inspiration from these five before-and-after pictures. Here I will provide a breakdown of the major changes they made to get the new look.
5. Open Kitchen/Dining Room
In this amazing and extensive kitchen remodel they changed just about everything. The biggest most noticeable change is the wall separating the kitchen and dining room — it’s gone. This kitchen also has tons of new lighting, new cabinets and flooring, new backsplash, and an island.
4. Overall Update
This kitchen got a new everything to, it just is not nearly as large as kitchen 5. The biggest change here is the cabinets — a dark wood with a beautiful finish adds so much value to a home. Other changes include the floor, backsplash, countertops and wall color.
3. Light And Dark
The contrast between light cabinets and walls and dark wood countertops makes this kitchen feel much bigger. Check out those corner cabinets and of course the rustic wood island — gorgeous.
2. Two-tone Cabinet Paint
This makeover is fun because they did deceptively little. Look closely: the biggest purchase here was that big beautiful countertop, which they extended to create a breakfast bar (great idea!). They also added a new backsplash, but everything else is just paint! The two-toned cabinets make the space look larger.
1. Minimum Effort, Maximum Impact
It is wonderful when kitchen remodel can have such a dramatic impact with such little work (and cost). The most expensive item in this after photo is the wood countertop. The cabinets got new doors and were painted, and they put in a new sink and faucet, but that’s about it. The result makes this kitchen look fresh and spacious.
